Alternative medicine is a nice name for a medicine that was here on Earth way before the traditional medicine if you ask me. It is the original medicine that was pushed away by the new improved medicine often promoted by the big pharma. Money and profits are sadly too often the main reasons in the medicine world. You can not have a patent on a plant that will cure an illness. It is the reason in my opinion why the medicine in general got side tracked by copying the wise mother Nature with often cheap copies of milleniums of slow and carefull evolution.

Ancient people and tribes knew the way to cure many illnesses with natural remedies but back then it was not called alternativemedicine. Money and profit was not the issue then, far from it. Today big corps want profits and fast. Beware my friends. The solution is knowledge because it gives you power. This is the reason of this website. We will try to bring knowledge to you so you can decide by yourself.

Well the advice we can give you is to start reading. But choose carefully. You will encounter many books or websites that talk about alternativemedicine. You will even reach a point where the information you will find about alternative medicine will be in contradiction with each others. This is where the fun begins. Take your time and try to reach a deep understanding of the subject.

You will notice that a lot of people and websites only repeats what others are saying. So mistakes and wrong information will float around and can be even pretty impressive. One will say for example that acupuncture or homeopathy is bogus and do not work while some others will say that these alternative medicine saved their lives.

Just check the forums and you will have a LOT of diverse opinions. Just for an example, I myself like to drink distilled water because it is pure water and nothing but water. I have been doing so for years. But to my amazement some doctors on some websites tell you that is dangerous! You go to other websites and some will say it is the way to drink water. You have to make up your own mind my friend and this is where the challenge is.

Before the Internet you had to go find the information in obscure libraries but nowadays the information finds you. You can even have an information overload. Take your time. Testimonials are great because behind them there are real persons with real results ( most of the time).
